How God Met my Needs (Series 2)

Hello and welcome to the second part of testimonies on how God met the needs of His children. 1.) I Got a Job in a Most Unlikely Season

I got married a couple of years ago and my real estate business was not booming. My wife did her best to support the family but I trusted God for His intervention because we had major needs. I got a couple of jobs that I could not continue with, since they were either not paying consistently or were requiring that I stayed at work throughout the week and sometimes sleepover, in an unconducive environment.

Many people tried to help me get a job, including my Church family. The issue however was that because of my age, I could only work in managerial positions which I was not qualified for because my experience was vastly in the hospitality sector. Any opportunity that I got to make a little money became important to me.

During the period of little, I drew closer to God. My walk with Him became better than ever and I started to trust Him to do the impossible.

To the glory of God, I got a job during this lockdown period. The job is just a walking distance from my home which means that I won’t spend on transportation and it’s also in the hospitality field that I love.

God be Praised forevermore!!!

2.) I Got a Better Job with Bigger Salary

I worked as a contract staff in a multinational organization. My salary was so small, I could barely meet my needs. Besides, the contracting company refused to confirm my appointment long after the stipulated period and the implication was that I would not get the salary increment that would accompany a confirmation. So, I looked unto God for a better job; I fasted, I prayed and searched for jobs via the internet and eventually became weary of the search.

A couple of months later, I received a call from an acquaintance asking me to submit my CV to a particular email, which I did. That same evening, I received a call asking if I would be available to be interviewed the following day.

I went for the interview the following day as requested. To the glory of God, the new company, which is also a multinational, called me to resume work immediately as a direct staff. Also, I was relieved of my job at the previous company that same week before submitting my resignation letter, after working there in an unpleasant condition for 1 year and 2 months. My salary is now three times the previous job, I have health insurance benefit, over-time work allowance and a better working condition in general.
