As the weekend approached, I realized that I was not feeling too well, so I took time out to rest. After resting for a couple of days, I felt better but was still not as strong as I should be.
I resumed my usual routine on Monday morning, thinking that I also needed to be active in order to feel better, but after carrying out some of the activities, I started feeling tired. That is unusual because I always move from activity to activity with vigor. This meant that although I felt better over the weekend, I was not yet whole.
It was time for me to study the Scriptures and pray, so I went ahead to do so. For some days before that, I had been patiently studying the book of Mark because I felt that there was so much about Jesus and His miracle working power to take in from it. After reading the assigned Chapter for the time, I started to pray and after just a short time praying, I found that I stared to declare by the Holy Spirit and what I was declaring is “the Blood of Jesus”.
Each time I declared the Blood, I would mention an attribute that it has; for example, I would say “The Blood of Jesus is Redemption” or “The Blood of Jesus is Powerful” and so on. Now, something powerful was happening as well; each time I declared about the Blood of Jesus, I found myself laughing intensely from the depth of my belly, over a period of time. I could only stop laughing after some time had passed then I would declare about the Blood of Jesus again, and find myself laughing with the same intensity; this kept happening, and the laughter was so intense that I began to cry.
The presence of God was manifest in my room and the hair on my body stood still. For each time I declared, I began to picture particular people that the Blood of Jesus was intervening for. After a while of this encounter with God, the declaration ended. However, I immediately noticed that I felt unusually strong as if I had been infused with excessive energy.
While I was focusing on interceding for others during the encounter, I had forgotten that I also needed healing, but I had actually been made completely whole. Then, I heard a word from God that confirmed that I had been healed.
My husband reached out to me soon after to ask how I felt, knowing that I mentioned before he left the house that morning that I still needed to feel better. I replied that God had healed me.
I felt unusually strong and went about my daily activities, feeling like someone who had been recharged with excess energy.
When my husband returned home that evening, he saw me busy doing some activities and smiled, then I told him everything that had happened.
The Blood of Jesus was shed for our benefit. The supernatural is real. Jesus is real. Everything that Jesus represents is real. Just believe in Him and expect the miraculous.
